М40B18 не е нискоктанов... степен на сгъстяване 8.8:1. а и високия октан няма как да ти навреди на колата. не знам от къде си намерил тази информация...

Може би имат предвид БМВ за американския пазар... Вероятно има разлика.
1.8 литра е чудесен обем. Не мога да разбера, защо продължават да произвеждат 0.5 литрови халби?!

Момчета радвам се че се наслаждавате на чуждите нещастия, на хората с мерак да имат хубави коли

ако искаш да помогнеш, кажи нещо конкретно... кои са тези малки и големи букси 
на дебитомера ли имаш предвид?
щом ти го прави на газ и на бензин, ако си сигурен, че газта ти е наред, проблема е в запалването - свещи, кабели, капачка, палец.

За последно пиша за октаните, щото едва ли помагам много на човека, а и може би е нужна отделна тема. В Ам има 87,89,91,93, което отговаря в тази последователност у нас на 91,95,98,100 приблизително. Двигателите на БМВ до 90г, без М и 4вент, са със степен на сгъстяване 9:1 макс и спокойно работят с 87/Ам/. В БМВ са заложили на прогнозата за нарастване на разликата в цените на ниско-, средно- и високоокт бензини. През 90 не виждат смисъл да залагат на това, като следствие най-ниската степен на сгъстяване е 10:1. Тези машини си искат 95 и нагоре. Няма проблем коли като моята да зареждат и 98, само че няма смисъл.

не видях никъде да се споменава М40, инфото което показваш е за М20
